value as a 16-bit signed integer.

Exceptions

FormatException	value cannot be converted to a numeric value.
OverflowException	The numeric value of value is greater than short.MaxValue or less than short.MinValue.

Remarks

This method parses value using the information in a System.Globalization.NumberFormatInfo instance initialized for the current system culture.
