System.IO.TextWriter.WriteLine Method

Writes out a formatted string followed by a line terminator to the text stream. [Edit]

Parameters

format
A string containing the format string. [Edit]
arg0
The first object referenced in the format string. [Edit]
arg1
The second object referenced in the format string. [Edit]
arg2
The third object referenced in the format string. [Edit]

The format specification in format is invalid.

Remarks

This version of TextWriter.WriteLine is equivalent to TextWriter.WriteLine(string.Format(string, object) (format, arg0, arg1, arg2)).

If the value of any object parameter is null, it is treated as an empty string.

Note:

If the specified object is not referenced in the format string, it is ignored.

This method does not search the specified string for individual newline characters (hexadecimal 0x000a) and replace them with TextWriter.NewLine.
