System.Net.Sockets.TcpClient.Connect Method

Resolves a fully qualified domain name to an IP address and connects to it on a specified port. [Edit]

Parameters

hostname
The hostname, e.g. "www.myelin.co.nz". [Edit]
port
The port number to connect to, e.g. 80 for HTTP. [Edit]
