System.String.Trim Method

Removes all occurrences of a set of characters provided in a character Array from the beginning and end of the current instance. [Edit]

public string Trim (params char[] trimChars)

Parameters

trimChars
An array of Unicode characters. Can be a null reference. [Edit]

Returns

A new string equivalent to the current instance with the characters in trimChars removed from its beginning and end. If trimChars is a null reference, all of the white space characters are removed from the beginning and end of the current instance. [Edit]
