System.Xml.XmlReader.MoveToAttribute Method

Moves the position of the current instance to the attribute with the specified qualified name. [Edit]

public abstract bool MoveToAttribute (string name)

Parameters

name
A string specifying the qualified name of the attribute. [Edit]

Returns

A bool where true indicates the attribute was found; otherwise, false. If false, the reader's position does not change. [Edit]

Remarks

Operation
After calling this method, the XmlReader.Name, XmlReader.NamespaceURI, and XmlReader.Prefix properties reflect the properties of current attribute.

Note to Inheritors
This method must be overridden in order to provide the functionality described above, as there is no default implementation.
