System.Xml.XmlTextReader.Item Property

Retrieves the value of the attribute with the specified qualified name. [Edit]

This is the default property for this class.

public virtual string this [string name] { get; }

Parameters

name
A string specifying the qualified name of the attribute. [Edit]

Value

A string containing the value of the specified attribute, or null if the attribute is not found. [Edit]

Remarks

This property is read-only.

This property does not move the reader.

Note:

If the reader is positioned on a DocumentType node, this method can be used to get the PUBLIC and SYSTEM literals.

This property overrides the System.Xml.XmlReader indexer.
